Before purchasing the Mio C520 GPS I went down to the local electronics store to test drive a few of them. They had some on display to try and I really liked the C520’s menus and extra features. It seemed a little more complicated than some of the others but it seemed to have a lot more features. I bought myself one online from Amazon.com and I love it. The Bluetooth is very high quality I find. I was able to import my contacts list off my phone onto the device and even save it on there in the contacts list tool.
The 4.3” widescreen is great. I don’t think I would be able to manage anything smaller. I think the keyboard would be too cramped and I’d be hitting wrong buttons. Also with the keyboard I like that it greys out any keys that wouldn’t form a name. An example would be say I’m trying to type in Main Street. When I type Ma it would only let me press keys like I to continue spelling Main or say y if I was trying to spell May. I couldn’t press Z because no streets contain maz. Only problem it gets a little lost in parking lots. You’re pretty much on your own until you leave the lot and get on a real street.
